Live Event Wedding Painting: Allie & Stan

Allie & Stan have incredible friends- I know this because a few of their friends got together, months before Allie & Stan's Foundry wedding, and made sure I could be there to paint the ceremony. I mean, just look at the size of their wedding party!

So enjoy this blog post, of a rare ceremony painting. The photos are a mix of OneNine Images and photos I took myself. Here we go!

Greenery at the alter. This is very similar to my view of the ceremony.

Guests are beginning to arrive, and I'm beginning to paint.

Is there anything more tender than a groom's face as he sees his bride walk down the aisle?

I was about halfway done with the painting by the end of the ceremony, so I moved my set-up into the reception space and painted through dinner as well. This is the way the painting display looked most of the night, while I worked. I particularly enjoy spotlighting the art while I work.
